Doctor Who, end of season 6
Eeeeeeeeee! I am having ALL THE FEELINGS! Oh, wow, so good. Of course he was going to pull off something like that, but I didn't know. Also did not know whether the wedding would be real or if that had been a mislead all along. Very happy with how they resolved that -- leaving the door open for River to be around, but not all the time. (I still don't know what's up with River's and the Doctor's relative timelines, and I'll probably have to sit down with a concordance and two balls of yarn at some point, but that can wait.)
Beyond that, I have no thoughts..
Oh, wait, one tiny observation: All season, I had been getting kind of annoyed that people were saying "Shut up" to each other so much. Affectionately, but I dislike it -- so disrespectful. It is possible, though, that that "shut up" is meaningful thematically. The doctor is having to learn humility -- to shut up and listen to his companions. I may be clutching at straws here.
And now I will turn around and start watching at 5x01 again, because eeeeeeeee!
