Semi-Yearly Update!
Ok, I really need to be better about updating this. Going almost 6 months between FFXI updates is just wrong. Ok, to start off with. I got my 4th job 75 back in July.
It surprises me that I've taken 4 jobs to 75 now, there was a time when I was wondering if I would ever get one.
Shortly after I finished with Rng I joined a Dynamis Shell and a Sky Shell hoping to pick up a few shinies. Well I've succeeded pretty well so far. Here are a few of things I've gotten.
Other Dynamis stuff that I've gotten, but forgot to take pictures of are Warrior's Calligae, Warrior's Mufflers, Warrior's Lorica, Saotome Haidate, Saotome Domaru, and Duelist's Gloves. So Dynamis has been fairly kind to me. Hopefully I'll be able to complete my Saotome set soon, I just need Xarc to be kind to me.
My Sky shell has bee fairly productive for me too. Mostly I play on my Rng for sky, which makes me sad since I consider it my third job behind Sam and War. Luckily I've been able to get stuff for my Sam to help ease the pain.
I've also managed to pick up a few things for my Rng to help make it better.
So my plan for right now is to get my Shura Kabuto and then start working on some Hecatomb pieces for my war. That should keep me busy for quite a while, but it'll be well worth it.
I also started doing Nyzul Isle runs with some friends of mine, and it has been a lot of fun. I tried doing some pickup nyzul groups and that made me want to put my head through a wall, but when I started doing it with these guys I realized how fun it could be. Of course getting some shinies helps too.
Winning by one point is pretty crazy. It kinda of hurt because Kaelen is my Samurai brother, and I know he'd been dying to get this piece. Our last run was actually really good, we did 3 floor 80 runs and got Denali, Askar, Askar. I couldn't believe our luck and getting three straight drops. Usually we go a week or two without seeing anything, and then maybe get one drop. Three in a row is just ridiculous, but hey I'm not gonna complain. I also got a pair of Denali Gameshes which turned out to be a nice WS piece for my Rng.
Finally I'm gonna end with a couple of fun pics, the first is from besieged and is pretty self explanatory.
