krissie's visit!
so lets see what ive done the past few days...
thursday was really the start of my weekend... thursday night i went out with emily and krystle. we went to sig pi and it really sucked... we were only there about an hour before we decided to leave. so we headed over to their friend vince's house. there, we chilled and played some games while vince and some of his friends played wheel of fortune on NINTENDO! we stayed for a few hours before headin back to the dorm and runnin into chris... had an episode with a stray cat... so cute! followed us all the way from vinces on 17th and montgomery to like 711 on liacouras walk... too cute!
friday went to chem... then went to spanish... then took a test in math.. nothin special really. came back to my dorm and chilled a while before KRISSIE GOT HERE!! so krissie, lisa, amanda, melissa, jess and i took amandas car to the king of prussia mall! had dinner at Ruby's diner, spent some time at the pet store lookin at puppies, shopped at american eagle, then came back. then krissie, melissa and i decided to have a movie night! went to 711 for supplies (i.e. ice cream, soda, chocolate, etc) then came back to my room, got under the blankets and watched Fast Times at Ridgemont High. awesome night!
saturday had to wake up early.... like 630!! can you believe that?! thats BEFORE sunrise even... havent seen that time of day in a while... anyway, took a shower, got ready, we left around 8 for jersey! so we drove to my house where i just picked up my car then drove to krissies. she took a shower at home then we grabbed her brother tim, threw him in my car and were off for our state teen fellowship! got there and saw lots of people i havent seen in a while... it was great. heard a teaching from dean about giving thanks then we loaded up the cars and went to lunch! the strip mall we went to had a choice of chinese, bagel place, or mcdonalds. kris and i decided on chinese and went and grabbed a table. another like 10 people showed up and we had just one huge table, sang happy birthday to bethany cuz it was her 21st birthday! just chilled together and it was so fun! when we got back, we all went to our allotted activities. my first was stayed mind where we practiced focusing our mind on one thing for a long period of time. what we had to focus on was "God is Love". honestly its so hard! after about 2 minutes, random things start poppin in your head and you have to be like "noooo, godislovegodislovegodislove!" by the end, i had a train coming at me in my head and a stereotypical God with a heart around him was stopping the train. you really realize some of the dumb stuff you think about... try it! my next was prayer, then reading the bible, then retimories where we basically try and memorize verses. the last activity for me was a love walk where i got to just go on a walk with a random person and just talk. i got paired up with this adorable 12-year-old girl Carla... too cute! she told me about school and she loves watching scary movies. it was fun! anyway, then we heard a teaching from Geoff Feury and just chilled with everyone for a while before we had to go. drove timmy home and chilled a bit then my parents told me they got pizza so we stopped at my house for a slice before we came back to philly and caught a late movie at the Ritz. we saw Kinley... about a college professor who does a sex study in like the 20s. real twisted, but really good! great cast, liam neeson, laura linney, chris odonnel, john lithgow. then we came back, heard some sex... haha... went to bed
so sunday we slept in a bit... till 12... got ready and went into center city to the olive garden for dinner! YUM never ending breadsticks... by the time my meal got there i wasnt even hungry anymore! then we took the subway back to school cuz kris left her bank card then headed down to south street! she got a present for matt and i got my traigus hoop put back in *the price of the new hoop like raped me* we walked around a bit more... checked out condom kingdom *you cant go to philly and NOT go to condom kingdom* then grabbed some hot apple cider from starbucks and headed back to the subway station. back at school, kris packed her things and we said our goodbyes *tear* but ill see her wed so it wont be too bad! :D it was great spending that time with her though... missed her so! I LOVE YOU MAN! so since she left, went to 4th meal with emily, krystle, and nester... worked on my paper a bit *not nearly enough*, and took a shower cuz i wont want to tomorrow and allie said it would get my "creative juices flowing". allie, jimmie was right when he said that sounds a bit kinky! haha ;)
