Bills suck... period.
Living on your own gives you so much freedom and you can get away with just about anything. I love it, but I have one thing that has been bugging me for about three months now. Okay, you would think with three other people living in one house that money wouldn't really be an issue. Right? Wrong. I pay ALL of the bills for this house, while my roomies only pay for the rent on the place. It's winter, so keeping warm is an issue. I leave the heat set at 70 degrees. Not too hot, not too cold. My bill is about $150 a month. That's been steady. My phone bill, which I barely use, is about $50. Nothing big. I'm at about $200 now. Water/sewer is about $60. Trash is $60. Rent is about $600 a month. That's $920 so far. Cable and the internet are luxurious - so i won't bitch about those but for those who want to know it's $120 a month ($1040) so far. Is everyone ready for the thing that set me off to write this? My electricity bill is $250! $250 FUCKING DOLLARS!!!! That's over half of what I make in two weeks! When my electricity bill is almost what I pay out every month in the other bills, that's when there is a problem. God I just wish that my room mates would realize how much electricity is being used. I put notes up on the fridge, and they still go unnoticed. *sigh* just let me die...
