Okay, the heiarchy at my thater goes like this -
1) Store Manager
2) Assistant Store Manager
3) Staff Leader (which is refered to as Assistant Manager)
4) Employee
I have been working at this theater for three years. And I haVE been screwed out of Assistant Manager because of the District manager before. Well, when we switched companys in May, we had one store manager, two assistant store managers, and one staff leader before the buy out. NOW my time has finally come. We are a 10 screen and we are allowed one store manager, one assistant store manager, and two staff leaders. A position opened up for one of the assistant store managers to get their own theater. Naturally he took it. And so their was an opening for a Staff Leader. My manager called me on Halloween to see if I wanted the position. After three years of working at the Horizon, I finally got a promotion. I have been the highest paid employee for a while now, and my managers got me even more money in my pocket. I can't wait. I start my new "Staff Leader" position on Tuesday. So, the short of it is - I GOT A PROMOTION!!!!
