[Rec. List] British: Animation, Film, TV, Theatre

Feb 16, 2014 19:59

Re-Reading: Play: Script: "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (Williams, 1955)

[Rec. List: British - Animation, Film, TV, Theatre; BAFTA] I've seen the BAFTA Awards shows on BBC America at least once or twice in the past when I had time. Thought they were interesting in terms of how content was organized and pacing of speeches. Definitely will try to catch this year's show (and watch clips of past and present ones on YouTube). With this blog entry, I thought I would do a little something in (somewhat) honor / related to the awards show. Decided I would go with works that I know and have thoroughly enjoyed in terms of production values, performances, and so forth. Some of these items on the list may not have won or been nominated for any BAFTA awards. Not sure. Going with the works I know.
