Gakuen Patch Render and Possible Group Order!
I had no idea the Gakuen shoot was taking place XD But in any case, I did some mods to the official render to make it
A) More like the provided art
B) More feasible as a patch (read: Able to fit on a standard pocket)
C) FANCIER *shot*
At the moment I'm just looking for some comments and suggestions on the design. I sent a message to the girl who ran the original order to check if it's okay that I run one so until I get confirmation, I won't be taking orders.
Size would be around 3.5x3.5", 100% embroidery, plain back (iron on backing can be added for a little more) and cost would run about $6 per patch if we can get orders for at least 35 patches. I want a bunch so that shouldn't be a problem XD).
Okay soooo... Changes from the original are noted. Color scheme was derived from the patch maker's sample colors. Some of the scroll detail was lost in the color process so of course I'd be sending both the original and the new version and pointing out which aspects to use from each. But again, looking for comments and suggestions on the design! I was looking at the patches from the Gakuen shoot and the spread wing design just didn't sit correctly (and I think they were a touch large). I took a lot of reference from my Ouran cosplay patches XD
I should note... This isn't accurate to the actual in-game stills (I have NO idea what's going on with those patches!) but rather to the uniform sheets that were posted afterwards (two images on the left).
I probably need not say this, but this took a while to do (I'm slow and indecisive >>) so please do not use. Yet.
