"I'm liberated as I stand
-once captive to an empty faith
I've glimpsed a more inspired plan
A hand reached out, pulled me through the door
-once homeless, outcast, so alone
And now I've got a roof and floor
But I'm a rebel telling lies,
Grasping what's before my eyes
A rebel's what I'll always be
-But now His grace will cover me
I don't know why my sight's restored
-I've got no merit to my name
But still this gift has been outpoured
And now life is no longer death
-For, once my lungs were filled with dust
He now sustains me with His breath
But I'm still a rebel telling lies,
Grasping what's before my eyes
A rebel's what I'll always be
-But now His grace has covered me
Now I know what it is to be free..."
