FANTASTIC FOUR star IOAN GRUFFUDD is set to wed his actress girlfriend ALICE EVANS after she accepted his marriage proposal on New Year's Eve (31DEC05).
The Welsh star has dated Evans for six years after they met on the set of 102 DALMATIONS, and he popped the question after surprising Evans with a diamond engagement ring hidden in a mojito cocktail.
Evans says, "It took me an hour to say yes. We were in a bar. I'd had a few and I was on a bit of a rant about the state of the world.
"I could see Ioan going whiter and whiter. I said, 'Do you fancy another?', then looked down and was like, 'Oh my God!'
"He said, 'How could you miss it? It's about the size of an aeroplane.'"
