I've been following this year's Lost 'ARG', which involves a website, damoncarltonandapolarbear.com, releasing posters by semi-famous artists presenting their interpretation of famous LOST moments or characters. The posters are a bit pricey, but are limited to 200 and are signed and screen printed. What a great piece of LOST memorabilia to own! So far there have been 15 posters and the 16th will be released this Wednesday/Thursday.
I have managed to snag two posters (and pretty much the only ones I've wanted). The first one I purchased (and the second released) was Locke poster:
I love it because it looks so much like an old movie poster and really incorporates all the things that make Locke great. The writing didn't show up in the pic at all but, it's amazing. For instance, the tag line is "Just don't tell him what he can't do...:
My most recent purchase was a BEN FUCKING LINUS poster. I was proud of myself for snagging this, as the posters sell out in less than 2 minutes, usually.
Crappy quality is crappy. Thank you shitting lighting. Anyway, it's really bad ass in person, as the silver highlights look very metallic and there is a lot of detail, including some barely visible Dharma logos in the corner. Along the bottom is written "My name is Henry Gale, my name is Ben Linus, my name is...". I love this poster! I "hee" to myself every time I see it.
