Fic: Crossword Clues (Mace/Price PG)
Title: Crossword Clues
Character: Colonel A. Gerald Mace (Well I have to encorperate all his names into one, and to explain, the A. is really for Alan, but it was unoffically changed to Alexander) and Captain Marian Price.
Pairing: Mace/Price. Well duh...
Rating: PG. Fluff.
Spoilers: Set after The Posion Sky. And before The Stolen Earth.

A/N: Just a little fic that came into my head, I wrote it up on my phone at midnight and well, I wasn't going to post it but in honour of... well nothing really. Anyway. Here it is.
Summary: At home, after having a long day at work battling the paperwork...
He was doing the crossword when she realised.
Nothing extraordinary for once, just the two of them relaxing at Mace's second flat after a long day battling the paper work.
She's sat on the sofa, feet curled up under her as she cradles a hot mug of tea in her hands, just watching him.
He's also got a mug of tea but his is on the table and all of his consentration is on the paper in his hands, she can tell in an instant when it happens.
It's when he reaches to adjust his reading glasses, pushing them slightly lower down his nose.
And then suddenly her world changes.
He doesn't notice her ephifany, just carries on working at 4 down.
Her heart beats faster as she realises for the first time in her military career that she's got something to die for.Someone to die for.
And someone who would do the same for her.
He broke into her thoughts.
"Four letter word for passion? I just can't shift it."
"Love?"
"Thanks dear, and... I do to, just to let you know".
She blushed and smiled.
She kept hold of her nearly empty mug and walked over to him, sat down next to him as he wrapped his spare arm around her shouders, pulling her into him.
And it was in those few minutes that Marian Price fell in love with Alexander Gerald Mace.
