Scatter, Senbonzakura!
I tried to stop by the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon today, but got a late start due to sleeping in after storms overnight. By the time I arrived, the rain had slowed to a trickle, but I was surprised to see almost no one there. The stands and such for the festival were still up, but no one was running them.
Still, the cherry trees are blooming and they look beautiful, though it'd probably be even better if it weren't raining. Soggy wads of fallen petals aren't the best look.
I'd like to plant a tree or two in my backyard once I've gotten rid of the stumps there. I'm not sure exactly what type, but cherry sounds like fun.
