Busy weekend
My mom came to visit this weekend. She brought Dad's pickup truck and we picked up lumber to build me a garden plot (it's hard to carry some things in a Prius).
There was some hard work involved, but it was productive, and we had a great time. Mom doesn't get to eat out often since Dad isn't interested and has some dietary restrictions, so we made up for that this weekend. We went out for Italian Friday night, and to a Japanese steakhouse Saturday (I thought she might like dinner and a show). The only cooking we did over the weekend was Sunday morning, when I made pancakes for both of us. That was fun, it's usually the other way around. :)
