Tiring weekend, but fun!
AniMacon had some birthdays and visits from distant friends, so we got together for dinner at Shoki, a Japanese steakhouse in Macon. I've never been there, expected something like Ichiban or Shogun. Great food (enough to have leftovers the next day), though my side of the table got a trainee chef and not much of a show. The chef's-choice sushi wasn't bad, but the separate sushi menu had some exotic items, including a ""Viagra roll." Still not as funny as the sushi place we found in Tennessee, that had an item named after a club member.
Sunday, we partied at the Prez's house. I provided a cake dubbed "Chocolate orgasm cake" by our former PR advisor (who even *I* think is a perv). Cupcakes were also a big hit.
I got to meet the club's possible future First Lady, and she met with the catboy's approval. :)
It was a fun weekend, but I ended up getting home later than I'd intended. Aside from the cake and a little laundry, I didn't get much productive done over the weekend. But the unmowed lawn isn't my fault. :(
