(no subject)
Today was a ton of fun! Everything just went perfectly and I didn't plan it out the night before like I usually try to do.
I woke up after getting lots of sleep (which I really needed) and my mom said she made me french toast! Nummy. Then she offered to take me to Michael's with her, where I bought a knitting book (Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick) on a whim. It's incredible, I can't wait to get started on a project in it once I finish up this bulletin board that's on the needles. After that, my dad came and took me to see 300. And OMGZSOPRETTY. Seriously, even if you're not into violence or gore, it's still just awesomely pretty to look at. And the violence/gore really didn't bother me, amazingly. I usually start bawling and/or get traumatized when someone gets killed or hurt badly, but I got through it pretty well. Except I had to fight sobbing like a baby at the end so hard. When I got home, I ate some delicious leftovers and now I'm working on my speech for History (well, trying to motivate myself to do so, is more like it).
I got inspired last night and made a somewhat specific list on what the perfect guy for me would be like. I'm proud of myself, it's kinda long, and I'm going to add some things. I'm going to put it on here, so I can look back and keep visualizing:
1) it's very important that I'm actually physically attracted to him, b/c I've had a lot of problems with not exactly lusting after someone enough, if ya know what I mean
2) good sense of humor
3) very funny; makes me laugh easily
4) yet, he can be serious a lot too, as well as know when to be serious/funny
5) sensitive and knows when I need cheering up or w/e
6) knows when I'd like my space or when I want to cuddle
7) honest, trustworthy, and loyal
8) good kisser (I know, but from my experience, it's kinda important, lol)
9) willing to wait for me to be ready before he tries anything; patient
10) very easy to talk to; good listener
11) somewhat outgoing; willing to take first move
12) takes care of himself
13) has the same interests as me:
- reading!!!
- likes movies
- music would be nice, but not too important
- plays/musicals/theatre/singing
14) goal-oriented; intelligent
15) dark or red hair (I've definitely got a thing for redheads)
16) hazel eyes (I'm trying to be specific so I know when I see him...lol)
17) playful; fun to be around
18) and of course...loves and cares about me deeply :D
I know this guy is out there and I know I deserve him! He is coming pretty soon, I can feel it! I even read in my April horoscope that I should "look forward to a brand-new guy coming into your life around the 12th. By the 17th this one will make you happier than you can ever remember being!" Not that I rely on horoscopes, I just thought it was cool!
So I'm off to work on my speech since it's due on...Monday. Yikes, wish me luck!
