Since people over at BWW.COM mentioned about having a BWW IDOL, I for some reason wanted to be a part of it. So, I went out and bought a computer Mic. and have been trying for a week to hunt down free audio recording software on the internet that is compatible with a Mac. Well, it sounds easier than it really is. Every software that I came across that was free was for a PC only. But, finally yesterday I found one. As I was downloading it, I was listening to my BARE musical bootleg cd **shame, shame** when "Absolution" came on. I was so worn out from all this hunting stuff down that I just wanted to do a short and sweet song that fit my vocal range and "Absolution" was perfect. So, I recorded that . . . liked how it sounded . . . let Christine and my friend Cindy listen to it . . . got their approval . . . and sent it in for the "try out" round. Voting is this week, so for those that go to BWW.COM, keep me in mind for the voting. **BIG GRIN**. If I make it past the first round, I am doing "Heaven on Their Minds" from JCS and maybe "One Song Glory" or do a duet with myself for "What You Own" from RENT (I thought that would be cool).
Anyway, today I went to see my sister-in-law perform with a choir at Baptist All State (I am an alumni) and on the way home she started acting like herself and people started yelling and stuff. We ate at Fatz Cafe and she was even louder and more obnoxious. She kept telling her mom and dad to shut up and she hated them. And then this family sat in the booth behind us and they kept moving and pushing on our backs. All of a sudden, Katie said in a pretty loud voice, "She better stop moving before I slap a ho." Then her dad went off and YELLED very loudly for her to shut up. She said no and this went back and forth for a minute. I can't stand going places with Katie because she always gets really selfish and blows her top for really no reason whatsoever. She thinks the world revolves around her and when someone challenges that notion, she starts yelling and saying crap. I would kind of understand if she was in middle school, but she is in the 10th grade . . . 15 years old. Grow up why don't you? So, all in all it was a very tiresome day.
