I am confused about what I should do. Something I know you don't know about me . . . for the last few years I have had this itch to start a career in Human Resources. I don't know why, but I do. Anyway, this girl I work with just started an online associates degree program for a Dental Assistant and she told me about the school. I went on their

But I second the whole "you get what you pay for" sentiment.
Based on my calculations, it's $900 for the entire over all program you're taking... not per semester. That figure boils down to about 22 months, which would be about right for an associates degree.
School is expensive. I'm getting my associates online and will be transferring to Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY for my BS in Legal Studies. The online program I'm taking is fast-tracked, as in I go all year round and there's only a week break between one session to the next. I'll have my associates in 18 months. In any event, my point is, it's still almost $10,000 per year for 4 - 6 classes -- depending how much I pack my schedule (2 classes per session typically). Thankfully, all but $3,000 per year is covered by FAFSA, but when it's all said and done, we're talking somewhere in the neighborhood $20,000. $6,00 of which will eventually come out of my pocket.
Mercy is a total of 120 credits to BS in Legal Studies and Political Sciences at $685 PER credit. That's $82,200 in tuition after 4 years... not counting books and per term fees.
In any event, the numbers they're handing you seem entirely too good to be true. While I see from their site (it's Pennfoster you're attending, right?) that it can be done, note that it's not an actual college or university... it is a vocational school, which is why it's so inexpensive.
Anyway, my point is, think long and hard if this is the education you truly want. I'm sure you can get much better schooling elsewhere at an accredited UNIVERSITY (not just an accredited institute)..... and it will take you much further.
