Had supper with Tracy last night.
Her adult daughter was with us, and we spent a lot of time drinking margaritas and talking about the upcoming elections and our frustration with the complete and utter lack of critical thinking being done by the electorate when it comes to choosing our elected leaders. I have conservative friends of whom I am very fond, and yet I cannot understand the way their brains work, what mindset would lead them to support some of the horrific stuff they support. I don't even know how to talk to them about it, without letting my distaste and disappointment come through.
