Why do people give their children names with goofy spellings?
One of the women at work just got a new grandbaby. Her name? Brileigh Jo. Now, I ask you...what is the point of that name? Especially in a town where we had a famous Mayor Briley--first mayor of Metro-Nashville--and where we have a major thoroughfare called Briley Parkway, which is named after him.
That poor child is going to have to spell out her name for the rest of her natural life.
