good weekend...for the most part
so this was a pretty crazy cool weekend.
friday i had dinner with sarah, katie, and nick at riverbrook which was HILARIOUS! "what about....CORN?" hahahahahaha! after dinner i went to the orchestra concert with nick and sarah. it was super good! i loved it and i'm starting to get SOOO into the whole music thing. i wish i would have caught the bug earlier but better late than never!!
saturday we had WSMA all day. it was cool because my judge was really nice. and i got to hear some good singers, even though pretty much every duet was the same piece...blah!
saturday night was the university choir/gospel choir concert. i was so moved by our performance and so happy with how it went, but i'm really sad that i have to go a whole summer without choir. i cried a lot after we were done. but then gospel choir cheered me up and we got to sing out final piece with them. it was fun! and i'm glad that i was actually into it instead of the people who thought they were too good to enjoy singing. after the concert, i got ice cream with my extended family: mom, dad, gen and sarah! it was a good time. then we went to the party at courtney's. that was really fun, especially once katie brought me lambrusco since i hate beer. i did not make out with anyone however, which is a little disappointing. especially since a few hotties were there. sigh...
today was really great! devere spent the night so we got breakfast together at the cafeteria. it was great. then i got coffee with brent and brandon. it was really great. we talked about all different stuff, and it was just nice to be around people who feel the same way i do about music education and choir. it's so refreshing!! i adore both those boys!!
after that i had a richard faith recital that i had to sell cds at with sarah. we didn't manage to sell any cds but we did have a lot of laughs. and apparently squirrels are horny, in case you guys didn't know.
and now i'm going to bed. i got my homework done and practiced a lot of piano. i've decided that i'm not going to spend nearly as much time in the music lounge the rest of this semester because there are so many better things i could be doing.
tomorrow is sam's birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!!
