It is that time again, when the 5 SHINee members gather around for their routine show or tell. They sit in a circle on the living room floor. Key is always the one most excited.
“Damas y caballeros!” Key starts to make his opening speech when Taemin realizes that this is getting in the way of his special time. Taemin tries to sneakily scoot away, but nothing escapes Key’s sharp eyes.
“I wanna get you in this party!” With a flip of his gorgeous hair, Key points at Minho who acknowledges the signal. Minho drags Taemin back into the circle. Taemin can do nothing but whimper.
Key makes his usual speech about honor and dignity, always ending with, “SHINee makes love right now!”
Taemin rolls his eyes, wishing he was in the bathroom with some lotion and magazines. On the contrary, Jonghyun is wide-eyed, hanging onto Key’s every word. He is so sure that he will get into Key’s pants tonight.
Key takes a deep breath, straightens out his shirt, and coughs to clear his voice. “This is my love story, a true sad story…listen.” Onew frowns - hearing such sad things breaks his heart. He scrunches up, bringing his knees to his chest.
“Have you tried thinking about me?” Jonghyun nods ferociously. “Given any thought about me.” Jonghyun raises his hand straight up in the air. “The times we stayed together like lovers flying free. I still love you!” Jonghyun gasps, patting Key on the back. “Seems like I should forget you.” Jonghyun shakes his head. “But when I see the picture that we took together, I can’t ever forget you.”
Jonghyun shoots up, clapping. His standing ovation was part of his plan. “Our love should go on,” he cheers, whistling. Onew laughs, figuring that this should be funny and joins in on the clapping. Jonghyun sucks his teeth and shoves Onew aside. He wants to be the only one that appreciates Key’s beautiful poem.
Key pulls Jonghyun down since it is Taemin’s turn to show or tell and Jonghyun takes this opportunity to stroke Key’s hand. Of course, Key slaps him, telling Jonghyun to behave himself.
Taemin gets up. “Hey ma! You, baby gotta like this!” He signals Minho and Onew.
“Let the beat drop!” At Minho’s cue, Onew starts his Donald Duck beat boxing. Then Taemin proceeds to do his crazy popping dance. As usual, Key is happy and proud to see that he has such a talented son.
After Taemin’s dance, Minho has a smile plastered on his face. “You got the flow it's through my body.” Minho obviously liked what he saw. Taemin can’t decide whether he is creeped out or excited, since Minho’s charismatic gaze is always confusing.
Minho decides to perform his imitation of Squirtle. Only this time he is wearing an actual Squirtle costume. Jonghyun bursts out laughing, rolling on the ground. He couldn’t let this go by without recording it - he thinks he will post this online.
“Oh, it's a little bit funny.” Onew doesn’t really understand why Jonghyun is having a crazy laughing fit.
“Let me do it do it now!” Jonghyun takes out a box and scoots himself next to Key. The box has ‘All about you! Love you! I wanna be with you, only you.’ written on it. Key looks at Jonghyun, then at the box. He rolls his eyes and prepares himself for another attempt at getting into his pants.
“I keep thinkin’ bout you, I keep dreaming bout you,” Jonghyun announces coupled with exaggerated hand motions. Taemin pretends to gag at Jonghyun’s remark. Jonghyun stands up and strikes a pose which he thought was sexy and seductive. He somehow manages to pull a rose out of nowhere and bites onto it. “Baila conmigo!” He claps and jumps. Jonghyun hopes that his Spanish skills will impress Key.
Key scoffs. He knows that Jonghyun can’t dance for his life. Jonghyun sighs - first attempt failed.
Jonghyun gets on one knee. “I fall so deep in love with such a girl like you.“ Key glared at the older boy, annoyed and tired of being called a girl or baby girl by Jonghyun.
Key drags Jonghyun back into a sitting form. “Key is gonna open. You wanna touch me. You wanna feeling it.” Who doesn’t want to touch Key? Jonghyun agrees, nodding his head like an idiot.
Jonghyun pulls out a picture of a car from the box. On the picture, the underlined words ‘MY CAR’ are scribbled over it. He smiles sheepishly, “You gonna get into my ride, right?”
Key chuckles - this is probably the best pick up line that came out of Jonghyun’s mouth. Jonghyun holds Key’s hands to his chest. “Please I'm tell you, I wanna be your man.”
Key stares at Jonghyun for a minute, formulating a response. He gets up and walks towards the bathroom. He seductively signals Jonghyun to follow him. Jonghyun trails like a puppy in heat, taking off his shirt and unbuckling his belt. Unfortunately, when Jonghyun arrives at the bathroom, Key slams the door on his face. “Have a little patience, girl!”
Jonghyun bangs on the door. “I think I’m gonna hate it girl!” He hasn’t learned that calling Key a girl isn’t helping him at all. “Baby, tomorrow, say you gonna coming back now?” No reply from Key. Jonghyun just hears the shower turn on. “Uh! You gave me, you gave me a heart break!”
The three other boys, who were watching, breaks out in laughter. This is probably their best show or tell so far.
Today, they all learn that getting Key in a ride isn’t so easy.
