I suppose I should introduce myself. Should anyone like to know, my name is Contract, and I was..."born" yesterday. I'm presently occupying temporary housing with my elder brother Animus. I doubt there's anything else you need to know about me, but ask, I suppose, if you want. In return, I would like to know where one might find some books, and perhaps a game or two. I find myself starving for mental simulation; this place seems to provide little of it. Additionally, it seems I am blind in my right eye, and I'd like to find something to cover it: an eyepatch preferably, though bandages will do.

It unnerves him to the point that he doesn't care to have anyone see it, so he figures this is the most plausible explanation if he starts wearing an eyepatch all the time.
