This turned out weird like most of my writing. I need to cut down on the drugs.
Rating: G
Word Count: 246
Characters: Dew, Cunningham
Theme: the problem with nosy teammates
Dew called him a pervert in the morning.
Cunningham hadn’t even been doing anything other than going through some old race tapes. It was research, he stressed. Being prepared is half of the work of winning. Know your enemy. All that jazz.
Dew asked him why he was only going through Satomi’s tapes.
Cunningham leaned back in his chair and gave his teammate a look while he explained that Satomi was the only team that they really needed to actually prepare for. The rest of them were a joke.
Dew asked about White Snow.
The brunet man rolled his eyes and scoffed at the idea of having to worry about a stupid snowman. He told Dew that that thing was their strongest attack and a pretty easy-to-figure-out one at that. No problem here.
Dew said that he didn’t want to lose to a stupid snowman because their captain was too busy mooning over Takeshi’s tapes instead of being thorough.
Cunningham frowned and told him that there was no way they’d lose to a stupid snowman. And that he wasn’t mooning. He was paying careful attention. To Takeshi. It was important for the future of Team Velshtein.
Dew asked him why he didn’t just go and talk to him if it was that important for their future.
The Velshtein forward mock-scowled, stood up, and declared that, fine, he would go and talk to Takeshi. For the sake of good research. And for their damned future.
Dew chuckled.
