So now I can't read fanfic anymore?!?
I just tried to read the next chapter in a Criminal Minds fanfiction which I have been following and enjoying for months. The chapter featured a graphic sex scene between Reid and Hotch (they are basically my OTP, and I like reading slashy fics about them).
Well, all the descriptions of penises started to trigger me, because of the recent rape. I couldn't finish reading the chapter.
So that's great. One of my basic fandom enjoyments has been taken away, because of the rape, of all things.
I know it seems trivial, but it really pisses me off. Just how much do I have to give up because of what happened?
