Law and Order: Supernatural Victims Unit
This is what happens when I watch an SVU marathon with Changeling goggles on.
Stabler: "So. Carla Jenkins. You're a senior at Glenbrook High. So why does your ID claim you're 37?"
Teenage Vampire: "It doesn't matter what I say, because as soon as you open that door? You won't remember a word."
Stabler: "This is all being taped."
Teenage Vampire: "I won't show up on it."
Except they've recently switched to digital. And she does.
And then they start uncovering the whole supernatural world (I'm thinking mostly new World of Darkness-ish, but that's really only necessary for the Changeling parts). And eventually they get completely blasé about it:
Liv: "We picked up another teenager with forged ID this morning."
Munch: "Disappeared from a locked room yet?"
Liv: "Not yet, but I'm guessing it's only a matter of time. She's got that look about her."
And Munch would be ridiculously smug about how this proves at least one of his conspiracy theories, and cutlacesoflife says one of his ex-wives would probably turn out to be either a changeling or friends with them, and they'd have to get her advice. And she shows Munch a hidden online community of changelings, where they all talk in code.
"Manticore_Dreams: so i was cutting through people's backyards lately and i found these things that look like tiny green bananas. any1 know what they are?
xXxSprings_ChosenxXx: Have you tried eating them yet?
waterprincess_123: oooh I like those! they're all ~*sparkly*~!"
(And also that Stabler would freak out over being memory-wiped and go to his priest for advice. Which would seem like an obvious way to bring in hunters, but I feel like that's a) too obvious and b) unfair, so maybe the priest is actually friends with a Mihai-type Friendly Neighborhood Vampire and can give him excellent advice.)
And at the season finale, the team decides to invade Arcadia and rescue all the changelings still trapped there, or at least the Fairest who are being used for sex. Except of course, the only changelings who'd be willing to lead humans to Arcadia would be privateers. So the changelings we've gotten to know over this whole season catch wind of this and have to go after them, and there's a massive Hedge-battle between the two sides.
