My back is on fire from too much sun beside the pool. Ah, the price of pleasure..
It's the New Year...and what have I done?
Well apart from the YMCA Carols by Candelight being cancelled, I've made another pilgrimage to the Riwaka Resurgence and spent some time with the fambly. Oh yeah, in about 7 months I'm going to be an uncle! Woot!
But as far as 2007 goes, it's been back to basics. That is, breakfast, opera, lunch, opera, dinner, opera, sleep. Rinse and repeat for 10 days.
The Opera School was excellent - I picked up a whole lot more this time round and I feel like I'm using a different voice which is kind of exciting.
The best part was receiving mail offering me a place at Royal Northern College (Manchester), plus a $5000 pound entrance scholarship! Awesome awesome.
I'm looking forward to this year - it's time to get serious.
