One week of classes down
I've been back in Arizona for two weeks now. This means that I should do some quotes.
Kristen: "Sometimes I don't know what I'm doing in life, and when people text me it doesn't help!"
Rachel: "You can pick me up and carry me around! I'm not a threat!"
Clara: "You do hit him, though."
Rachel: "True..."
Wilford, learning to crochet: "I did something wrong. Now it's coming out the wrong place."
Me: "That's what she said."
Wilford: "...Okay, for the sake of my brain, I'm going to say that what happened there was someone laughed and had milk come out their nose."
Brynn, right after Osiris leaves the room: "You've seen Osiris, right?"
Me: "Uh, yeah."
Brynn: "So he's real, right? I didn't invent him?"
Me: "I think he's real."
Brent: "Well remember, I invented Christy."
Brynn: "Oh right! I can't ask her then."
Me: "Am I real?"
Brent: "Sure you are, honey."
Kristen, trying to get itch cream out of a tube: "Oh, I see. It has a force field." *opens tube and removes seal*
Elevator: "Sixth floor!"
Brent: "Thank you."
Me: "I do that too!"
Brent: "I always say please and thank you when I'm talking to a machine on the phone, too. You never know when they're going to take over the world."
Me: "Remember, Wilford is just Rachel's imaginary friend that we play along with."
Rachel: "Aw..."
Clara: "Oh, right."
Me: "This is actually Zeno's room, and he's wondering what we're all doing here."
Wilford, from the next room: "I can hear you guys!"
Kristen: "Is that a bunt cake?"
Me: "What? A butt cake?"
Clara: "Kristen!"
Professor Berch: "They'll have somebody testify and lie and say, 'Oh, we sent all these letters to...' What's your name?"
Seven: "Seven, like the number."
Professor Berch: "No, your name."
Seven: "I know, it's unfortunate..."
Nick: "You should just give your students cocaine and they'll remember things better."
Ms. Xia: "When I first came here, all I knew about American students was from American Pie and Gossip Girl. I talked to me friends who were TA's, and they said 'I was really nervous at first too, but then the students were so nice.' And I thought, 'Really? American students are nice?!"
Brent: "Why is there a cat?"
*pause, then I realize he's looking at a figurine of a cat*
Me: "Oh, that was an actual question. I thought you were talking about Ishtar and being... you."
Brynn: "Well put."
Rachel: "Zeno would you like to learn how to crochet?"
Zeno: "No, crocheting is dangerous. Those big hooks, and the yarn."
Rachel: "I could teach you origami."
Zeno: "Paper cuts."
Me: "Maybe I should find a girl to make out with, so Alex won't be jealous and he'll stop worrying about you. Plus, you know, I'll have someone to make out with. And I'd share her with you."
Brent: "YES! I AM IN FAVOR OF THIS PLAN."
