Me (on the phone with Katrina): "Just a sec, I have to figure out what my friend is sticking in his boyfriend's nose... Oh, okay, it's just a condom..."
I guess in some ways it's nice being back at ASU. I had lunch with Brent, and dinner with Jen, and there are plans for Rocky Horror Picture Show this weekend, and I actually brought my boots with me from Michigan so I'm so wearing them, and maybe this week I will actually get someone to take me to Phoenix for First Friday (if not, there's February), and on Wednesday Kristen, Clara, Rachel, and I sign up for our room for next year.
Of course, it is also very nice that I will be home again in less than two weeks.
It was going to be three weeks, but then I realized that my only final I have to come to class for (instead of just turning in a paper/project/take-home final) ends December 12, 9:30 am (and actually probably a lot earlier than that since it's non-cumulative and surely will not take two hours). So I decided to pay the fee to change it and come home a week earlier.
Only six more days of classes!
Being in Ann Arbor for four days was wonderful. There was tea and conversation and the train and music and Apples to Apples and fudge and Thanksgiving and many wonderful people. ^_^
Brent asked if anyone seemed changed by their college experience yet. In retrospect, Avery did seem a little less spazzy than usual, and he did mention that people at Center don't react as well to his particular brand of craziness...
