Convention Update #2
Greetings to all of you wonderful people.
The first two days of the convention have gone really well. This evening we are putting on a little concert outside of Jacobs Field (home of the Cleveland Indians) just before the game. The past couple days we've been having choral rehearsals. I cannot even begin to say how great it is to sing with almost 500 other men. It's absolutely wonderful. Add to that we have two wonderful conductors in Rolland Shaw and Brian "Godfather" Stratton.
The opening ceremony was pretty cool too, especially as I was asked to take part in it! I can't say exactly how as it would violate an oath of secrecy. Most of the time I've had to be in legislative sessions. Fun times that is...Oh, we did go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yesterday. I didn't enjoy it but perhaps others of you will.
Oh, something really cool!!! I am up for Secretary of the CPR's Council. I have to give a speech today and be elected on Saturday. I'll keep ya posted.
