Greetings to all of you.  The peace of God be with you on this holy day.

Today is Sunday and for once I haven't gotten my usual Sunday slows.  That could be that I actually got a decent amount of sleep last night.  First Saturday night/Sunday morning that has happened in a while.  I'm usually up for a good chunk of the night hanging out with Margee ( Read more... )

Whats happening you filthy SODOMITE!

Rom 1:26 Because of this, God gave them up to dishonorable passions, for even their females changed the natural use to that contrary to nature.
Rom 1:27 And likewise, the males also forsaking the natural use of the female burned in their lust toward one another, males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving back within themselves the reward which was fitting for their error.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right,
Rom 1:29 having been filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, iniquity, covetousness, malice, being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers,
Rom 1:30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, proud, braggarts, devisers of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 without discernment, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful,
Rom 1:32 who knowing the righteous order of God, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but also approve those practicing them.

Wow, what a cliche thing to do as a cowardly "Christian." Hiding behind Bible verses that you interpret to fit your homophobic safety net. Plus, not even identifying who you are. I found in my experiences in faith and Christianity that God and Jesus stood firm on one concept over everything else: love.

Love, not in the eros sense but in the manner that Jesus taught, means to treat every other person on this earth as your brother or sister and to care for them regardless of what they do, have done, or believe. You may not agree with parts of the person, no person is ever totally acceptable to someone else, yet they are still human beings just like you and they deserve the same human respect and treatment that you should get.

If you hate someone for being gay, you may as well hate your teacher for criticizing a point on your paper you thought was good, or your parents for telling you it is your responsibility to take out the garbage. There is always someone who we won't like because they have different views or rub us the wrong way. Guess what, they aren't gonna go away, so you better learn how to live with it.

I get rather tired of you who follow some self-righteous quest to protest what they aren't accepting of. I get tired of you who chose to keep a closed mind and not try to find an answer through discussion and listening. I am really tired of you who use the Christian faith, a faith I strongly believe in, as a weapon against something that you are too afraid to confront and make your stand face to face; making stabs at someone anonymously through a live journal.

Because of the complete disregard for our faith's teachings, you are no Christian, so I ask you to not use my faith for your own personal agenda against homosexuals.
