i finally made a new comic >_> after like a month Smile
Here I am
a living man
in a dead world
all I see is woe
No future, no hope
all was forgotten
all was lost
and they smile
wars and destruction
starvation and greed
genocide has come and gone
what took us eons to build
in an eye's blink...gone
and they smile
I am what is left
I am what lingers
I am the pain
I am the one who remembers
I am the one who was there
I am the one who cries for them
I am a witness to their deaths
and they smile
Pacing through the field
(death surrounding me)
pacing through the field
(death is all I see)
and they smile
like them I shall soon be
life is now leaving me
as I feel my body drop
and hit the lacerated ground
I look up at an unforgiving sun
the eye of god judging us
for what we have done
this is the outcome of our actions
a retribution paid with blood
I turn to see the ones
I once called friends
and I see them not move,
I see them dead
they just stare
and they smile
smile at me
"come join us" they say
"we are in a better place
a place with no war
no hatred, no death"
And as I lay there
I now know
Where I am going to go
I get ready to embrace my end
as I feel the last drops of blood
pour freely from my veins
and so I close my eyes
to thus become one with death
and I smile.
Luna's lust
living in her vanity
shining above the skies
shrouded in a cloak of darkness
Luna would look down at man
Requiring a sacrifice
being the one to lead us at night
the most beautiful creature
to gaze down at the earth
in an eternal night
but vanity leads to lust
lust leads to greed
greed to despair
and despair to our ultimate end
a gentleman like any other man
by the name of Sol came one day
and courted the beautiful pearl
she rejected his affection,
for her lust asked her for more
the next day Sol came back
and courted her once again
and once again Luna said no
for she would rather die
than to embrace such a lowly man
then Sol began to smile
as his eyes began so shine
his black robe flung open
to reveal a suit of armor
that illuminated the skies
mesmerized by the glamour of the man
Luna said she had changed her mind
but it was too late
for Sol had now left
Sol walked proudly as he looked down
"I shall give you life" he said to man
"I shall give you comfort,
I will eradicate the dark"
With this last word,
black turned to white
cold turned to warmth
giving life to plants
giving hope to man
Luna chased after Sol
for she had never met anyone like him
but Sol made her feel
what he had felt
for vanity leads to lust
lust leads to greed
greed to despair
and despair to our ultimate end
and so to this day
when Sol walks by the skies
he gives life to the dead
and when he is done, he leaves
to do his bidding at another place
and after he has left
Luna follows him
keeping her distance,
not to be seen by him
following Sol's light
And this cycle
of day and night
has gone for centuries
and for centuries to come
until the day they embrace
and we all meet our ultimate end...

The time is right
the great Lord again shall arise
from the depths of the earth
but for him to be freed
he requires a sacrifice
his mere subjects get ready
for the coming of their savior
the one who gave them life
the one who gives them death
the one who created their earth
the one who will give hand them their end
the purest of the maidens has been chosen
strapped at the altar
ready to be sacrificed
the greatest of honors
to die for their almighty one
as the athame kisses her
her flesh becomes a vermillion river
chants are said
candles are lit
the chalice now contains
the blood of her
the priest's golden attire
is now stained with the
blood of the lost
youth...
the ritual has ended
her lifeless body rests
her limbs separated from each other
her arms, legs, and chest are burnt
the smoke rises towards the sun
towards the home of their lord
their god is pleased
for 12 more moons
they will prosper in life
and when one by one
the moons pass
another maiden shall be chosen
and the slaughter will commence
again...
and again
and again...
