Are there curses going on in this town yet again?

That does appear to be the case. You yourself seem to have aged backwards, Lord Cain.

No, sir. That's impossible. I can't have aged backwards.

And you know my name, sir. You must be a friend of my father's--aren't you?

So he remains oblivious to your own state. I suppose you are right, then. I must have momentarily mistaken you both.

Oh, not at all, sir. It's perfectly all right.

And do you find yourself well these days? I certainly hope no trouble has come to pass in your household.

Yes, sir. We're all very well.

That is good to hear. As always, you are welcome to the Phantomhive's stock of games and confectionery items. Consider it something to take your mind off the City for a bit.

Thank you, sir, but I really couldn't. Father would never permit me-- wonder where I had gone. I ought to wait for him.

It can be our little secret. Remember a cake leaves no evidence behind.

Yes, sir, I know, but he'd still know-- Father doesn't like me to go out without his permission.

A true shame, then. Is your father currently residing within the City?

He is, yes. We've visited this place several times. I think Father must come here on business, because he is often away and I find myself waiting for him here. It's strange that he would bring me along and not bring Riff as well.

And who is looking after you in the mean time?

No one, sir. I'm simply waiting for my father. So long as I can stay awake--
