Moving on
Well, ODPD is now officially in the books...we had a really good run. Audiences reacted well and we averaged crowds of at least 120 most of the nights. I think that's pretty good for student shows. It's amazing to think that we started on that back in November. It was funny today though with our closing matinee. I sort of took a moment for myself before going out for bows. It just sort of really started to impact me, that the end of my GVSU career is in sight. It's exciting at one point, because I think I have a lot of great opportunities ahead of me, but scary and sad at the same time because of this strong community that is here. Oddly, it just feels like one big, LONG, exhausting vacation is coming to an end. Had a monologue workshop with Paulie on Saturday. It went really well. I kind of got put on the spot because I got there late due to work, but he said that he thinks I have a great everyman quality about me, which is a very employable trait. That meant a lot coming from someone who's been in the biz for awhile. Alas, it's one day off tomorrow and then the start of rehearsals for Rocky. Looks like there'll be some new faces, so should be interesting! :)
