HOUSE
Here's pretty much where things stand. The asking price is $80,000. I offered $60,000 (due to the fact that the place is going to need a new furnace, a new air conditioning unit, a new electrical box, and a new concrete floor poured for the garage). She countered at $78,000, then got married and went on her honeymoon. We are going to re-present at $69,000 on Monday.
HALO-2
The Hurleyz clan is embroiled in an internal struggle. The clan has been renamed "Thee Elders" (and yes, I did buy TheeElders.com). The Purple Division and the Green Division are struggling for superiority. The winning team's commander gets to be the Overlord of Thee Elders. I am the commander of Purple Division.
WORK RELATED STRESS
Lots going on at the plant. We seem to be in a bit of trouble, but the guys from corporate who came in to bale us out are optimistic. We are working a lot of forced overtime, though. Between pulling twelves, getting ready for Fantasy Football 2006, and my Halo clan, I haven't had time to get a lot of other stuff done.
SHIFT CHANGE?
Still thinking about it, but it's on the back burner for now...
COMPUTER UPGRADE
I'm going to attempt an upgrade this weekend, and add a gig of ram to the ole system. Wish me luck...
FANTASY FOOTBALL DRAFT SUNDAY
Sean's coming up Saturday and we're gonna go off with some Halo, then Sunday is the 4th annual North Coast Football League Draft, held in the conference room at theHEROzone. My keepers this year are QB Michael Vick, QB Kerry Collins, RB Shawn Alexander, RB Jerome Bettis, WR Randy Moss, WR Nate Burleson (replaced Randy Moss as #1 rec in MIN), TE Tony Gonzalez, K Ryan Longwell.
I've got a good team on paper.
Too bad Fantasy Football isn't played on paper.
