decided it was time for an update...everything is really good right now. except for i'm totally wiggin' for finals, especially since i'm a very horrible test taker. things with Rich are going really great...i think he might meet my family soon, which is extremely terrifying. he just got a kitten and named it Decland (Elvis Costello's real name) ( Read more... )

im glad to hear things are going well with the boy. (random funny story: one day one of my co-workers [the one that said you were hot one day] asked if i knew a girl named josie [pronounced wrong, of course] and i told him that you were my friend who he thought was hot, and he said you were dating a friend of his. small world, man).

who's your adviser? are you still doing journalism? if so i STRONGLY suggest taking cultural historical and social scientific ASAP. when you do take them, i HIGHLY suggest TAs robin johnson and josh grimm (although if i remember you dont get to know who the TA will be during registration). also, i sort of doubt ill be graduating in four years, too.

can we go sledding together sometime over break? and then go get hot chocolate and chat afterwards? i definitely miss having josie time, and i want to hear all about what youre up to and how schools going and whatnot. (and i have some gossip for you, too).

we totally should go sledding sometime...i really want to...my adviser is Ginger Russell. I am still doing journalism but i'm starting to get slightly "wary" about whether that's what i want to do. but i think it is...did you take those two classes in 1 semester?? was it really difficult? i also love gossip and love telling gossip so we should definitely hang out.

thats great info...thanks shelby...although i would like to take both classes at once, the cultural one is closed so i can't...which really sucks. anyways, good luck to you, when do you want to hang out? after finals would be fabulous.

originally i couldnt get into cultural historical either. you should just keep checking isis to see if it opens up. i got really OCD about it over the summer, since i really didnt want to wait until my sophomore spring semester to be able to apply to the jschool. i checked it every day (basically whenever i checked my email) and i ended up getting in. a LOT of people change their registration around before the semester starts, so i bet out of 240 people, at least one of them will drop between now and then. and if you check isis a lot you can jump on their spot. (im currentely checking isis twice a day to see if i can get into better english classes... and i already got into one that i needed ( ... )
