The other night I saw that The Daily Show was back in production. With the writer's strike still ongoing, they do not have a crop of writers to put together material, or at least, they don't have their old crop of writers.

I found the first two shows somewhat interesting. The difference between pre-strike shows is clear though, and it felt a bit like I was watching a talk show that The Daily Show was set up to mock.
