Day 12: What's in your fridge?

Oct 07, 2013 20:51

The answer to this question is: what's in my PARENTS' fridge?
A very sad lack of ice cream.

Lots of healthy food. Eggs. Various sauces, Bottles of white wine. Cheese. Lunch  meat. Frozen meats, frozen veggies, some ice cubes. We have an overabundance of ice packs. Tons of them. They're useful too, since I use them to take lunch to work, and I don't have to battle for space in the company fridge. (It's a jungle in there.) Lots of fresh veggies too. Several packages of mushrooms. (Yum.) NOT tomatoes, because you are not supposed to put tomatoes in the fridge, though I don't know why.

No ice cream. There might be some weird fruit bars, desserts for people who don't want the guilt or calories of eating a dessert, but want to think they're eating it anyway. Nothing really to pull out and munch. Except for cheese sticks, which are amazing. All must be cooked/prepared before consumption. Bad for snacking.

Thankfully, there is no gross mold in this fridge. No foreign objects. Probably a box of baking soda somewhere to suck up bad odors, but that's about it.

There is also the leftovers of tonight's dinner: chicken Marsala. I made it myself. It rather kicked ass. E-meals is working wonders for me.

31 days, fridge, meme, clearly my life is boring, food
