the sun has come out, and it's not even tomorrow!
Ah, life is being nice to me.
Recap time.
1) I met a girl! I met a giiiiiiiiiirl! (If you can't tell, I was singing that bit.) Her name is Kylee, and homygosh, she's realllllly cute. We've been on two dates. (Or one date, and one "Hi, we met on OKCupid, and we should probably meet in real life" dinner.) Last night, we went to Plums and got Juicy Lucy's (which for those of you who don't know is like a cheeseburger, but the cheese is INSIDE the burger instead of on top of it), and I proceeded, very sexily, to get hands and FACE sprayed by molten hot cheese. This seriously happened. In front of a really cute girl who I've just met. To the point where my brain went "Oh God, you're in actual real pain here, get this cheese off RIGHT THE FUCK NOW", and then I proceeded to use up all the napkins at the table. Thankfully, she is of the opinion that most restaurants should come equipped with roles of paper towels at each table, because she is a messy eater like me. I proceeded to burn my hands several more times on the molten cheese of death, but did finish my burger, which is a plus.
2) Did I mention my parents bought a cabin? Because they did. Not a huge, on the lake, massive monstrosity. Just a tiny little thing in the middle of the woods. But mom and I are going up there today for some "fuck the city" time, so I'm bringing way more books than I need to. Like ya do. I'm in the mood to read horror, so I got a couple horror books from the library, and I'll bring those up. Because who DOESN'T want to read horror in the middle of the woods, miles away from anyone? (This might not be a good idea.)
3) I am reading a FANTASTIC book right now. "Let's Pretend This Never Happened" by Jennifer Lawson. I literally giggled out loud, which I don't often do while reading books. It's her memoirs, and God, I can not put them down. If you own a car, and are near a bookstore, get into said car and go get this book RIGHT NOW. Or just go to B&N.com, and order it. JUST ORDER IT. And read it. I can not stress enough how good it is. Also, it makes me want to write a lot, which is nice since I've basically lost my ability to write anything lately
I guess I only had 3 good things to talk about, but that's a lot of good, I think!!
