I finished up the copy of Being Nikki by Meg Cabot. I didn't much care for the first book in that bit, Airhead, but I thought Being Nikki was much better! And of course it ended on a cliffhanger, so now I really want the third one to come out. But it won't, for like a year. Grrrr.
I love that feeling of excitement and stabs of happiness I get when reading a book. I guess I haven't had much experience in the men department, but I still wonder if a man will ever make me feel that giddy and excited, the way I get when I'm reading a cute scene in a book. Particularly a cute scene in a Meg Cabot book.
Next up on the reading list is Every Boy's Got One. I've read it before, a long while ago, but I am in the mood. And frankly it's adorable. With the drama that has recently landed in my lap, I could use a little fluff.
