For my
100_situations Table It was quiet. Jack sat in the sand beside the river and watched it moving over the rocks and debris from the crumbling buildings that had once housed a civilization that Daniel said likely came from Europe, the British Isles. His pants were still wet from wading through the tepid water earlier…for that matter so were Daniel’s.
Daniel sat nearby, his hand on the sand between them. His eyes though were on the stones that marked out the circle, not the water. The river cut through the circle, under a fallen lintel stone, cutting the space neatly in half and carrying on out between two standing stones.
Jack put his hand down near Daniel’s. Above them the night sky was alive with the light of two moons and a canopy of stars. His fingers crept closer…just brushing Daniel’s. “Jack.” His tone was light, but carried a vague warning.
“Daniel.”
“We’ll be home tomorrow.”
“I know.” He flicked his gaze to Daniel’s profile. “It’s nice here.”
Daniel nodded. “Yes, it really is. I can see why they chose it.”
Jack waited. He knew Daniel wouldn’t leave it there. “But?”
Daniel rolled his eyes. “They wouldn’t have built the henge here. Not like this. The river had to have moved after.”
“And?”
“It means these people came here long before we originally thought.”
“Which means?”
Daniel turned to look at him, scowling. “I don’t know.”
Jack chuckled.
“What’s so funny?”
“I just love that look.”
“What look?”
“That…confused…puppy look.” Jack dusted off his hands and stood, moving a few steps closer to the river.
“Puppy?” Daniel asked as he got up to follow.
“It’s cute.” Jack added, resting his hand lightly on his weapon.
“Cute?”
Jack cuffed him lightly upside the head, then pulled him in for a quick kiss over startled lips. “Hey!”
He chuckled and released Daniel. “You were stuck on repeat.”
“Yeah…but…off world Jack.”
“I know, Daniel.”
“Your rule, not mine.”
“I know.”
“Sam and Teal’c could have seen us.”
“They didn’t.”
“But they could have.”
Jack came back, standing close enough to be touching Daniel in several delicate places. “You want me to do it again?”
Daniel’s breath caught and his eyes focused on Jack’s lips, as if waiting for him to move in again. “I…don’t know.”
Jack moved a hand, hidden from casual view by Daniel’s body and his weapon, and cupped Daniel’s awakening cock. “You don’t know?” His voice was low and deep. Daniel groaned.
“Jack, stop.”
“No. I’m changing the rules.”
Daniel’s eyes closed. Jack’s hand played along the length of his cock through the fabric of his pants. “I think I liked it better when you were confused and letting me lead this.” Daniel whispered.
Jack grinned. “I’m not confused any more Daniel.”
“I see that.” Daniel breathed, steadying himself with one hand on Jack’s shoulder. “Sam…and Teal’c…really will be catching up to us…and anyone could come through the gate….”
“How long Daniel?”
“Hmm…?”
“How long can you take this?”
Daniel shook his head. “We can’t Jack. Rules…Never off world.”
“You’ve never cared about rules before.”
“Daniel?” Sam’s voice carried through the trees and echoed out of his radio.
Daniel’s eyes rolled closed as he tried to control his voice. “Go ahead, Sam.”
“Teal’c and I are headed back your way. We didn’t find anything.”
“Us either.” He released the button and opened his eyes. “Jack, please.”
“What?”
“Jack and I are…” He groaned as Jack grabbed him and held. “Fuck. Jack and I are at the…we’ll meet you…at the …gate.”
“Daniel? Are you okay?”
“Yeah. Fine.” He glared at Jack. “Just…take the east road through the village, I think I left my notebook by the well.”
“Roger that. See you at the gate.”
“Quick thinking.” Jack said, leaning in to kiss Daniel. He tasted like coffee and peppermint lifesavers .
“We don’t have time…” Daniel whispered as Jack went back to stroking him.
“I say we do.” Jack was walking him backward, toward the river, into the protective shadows of the giant stones. Daniel felt the water swirl around him. Jack turned him, moving him to a spot where the water ran deeper, up to his waist.
“Jack?”
Jack kissed the question away, unzipping Daniel’s pants and getting his hand inside. “What better way to hide the fact that I made you come in your pants?” Jack whispered, then his tongue was sliding over Daniel’s earlobe, down behind his ear. Daniel’s hand grabbed at Jack’s arm, moving in rhythm as he pulled and twisted, tugged and Daniel whimpered as he palmed over the tip.
“Jack…fuck…”
“When we get home tomorrow, I’m going to take you home and I’m going to spend two days showing how not confused I am.” Jack whispered. “The things I want to do to you, Daniel…”
“Yeah?”
“Oh…yeah…” Jack went back to kissing him, his fingers playing along the head of his cock until Daniel couldn’t hold on any longer. His hand squeezed Jack’s forearm and he groaned into Jack’s mouth as he came.
Jack held on to him until the orgasm past and Daniel found his balance. Then just…let go and climbed up out of the water. “You coming?” Jack asked, his eyebrows lifting in amusement.
Daniel rolled his eyes and started out of the water but Jack’s “Eh,” and pointing made him realize he was still hanging out of his open BDUs. He stopped, tucked in and zipped up, then followed. Sam and Teal’c looked up as they approached the gate.
“I was starting to get…worried.” Sam said as they got closer. “Daniel, Sir…you’re both…wet.”
Daniel licked his lip and looked at Jack, then Sam. “I…ah…fell.”
“In the river.” Jack supplied, gesturing at Daniel.
“And…Jack…helped…”
Jack nodded, then pointed Daniel to the DHD to start dialing. Sam moved to stand beside her commanding officer. “He fell, sir?”
“In the river.” Jack grinned at her and she shook her head.
“I won’t ask.”
“And I won’t tell.” Jack said softly back to her. Her blue eyes met his in question, but the gate swooshed open and he held out his hand to encourage her ahead of him.
