Friending Policy
Greetings and thank you for visiting my journal.
As of now all RPS content is being placed behind friends lock.
This is due to cruel, gutless people being cruel and gutless. To be clear, someone with no ties to fandom in their journal, tried to expose my writing to people I was writing about and people who I am friends with who are friends of those people.
My policy on fanfic is that this is all for fun, that no slight, defamation or character commentary is implied and that anyone who doesn't like it has a back button they can use to escape.
I am being picky about who I friend back. And I will be even pickier now.
I'm not friending empty journals unless I know the person, or have conversed with them, or they have mutual friends that I trust. This includes journals with just one entry aimed at telling folks why their journal is empty. If you do not show your "mutual friends" list and have an empty journal, I will not dig through your friends list to see who has friended you back.
I realize a lot of you have empty journals because you only use them for reading & commenting. I am sorry. I am protecting myself. I hope you understand that.
I am not friending journals that have no visible ties to fandom. I don't care if you have kink content, or whatever, if there is no obvious ties to fandom, I can not in good faith add you.
As always, everything else exists outside of friends lock, so feel free to read and respond if you want to give me a chance to get to know you.
I have also begun slowly archiving my work over on Archive of Our Own. This is a long process. It will take some time. The RPS is also there, it just requires that you be a member of AO3 to read it.
All of my fic worth bothering with is now archived on AO3 under the same username, phantisma. The RPS is there, though it is locked down there as visible only to members.
