The Great Lock Down
Hey everyone...
If you've tried to read anything on my journal since about 2 hours ago, you'll notice it's all been locked down.
I will do my best to get a working solution in place soon, but I had to lock up very quickly this afternoon due to someone twittering a direct link to one of my RPS stories to one of the celebrities featured in that story.
Now, this person seems to have created a twitter account specifically and solely to do this. This person follows five people: Lou Diamond Phillips, Christian Kane, Steve Carlson, John Barrowman and David Hewlett. This person has made exactly one tweet. The one pointing one of those five to a story on my journal.
I don't know about any of you, but this feels to me like a direct attack, like someone specifically trying to draw attention to me...and considering that I will be shaking the man's hand in a little more than a month, I freaked out just a bit.
I am thinking that going forward I will have to start friends locking all RPS. What that means is actually having to go through and friend folks back, which I've never done from this account.
This will take some time. I will have to unlock the journal, and specifically lock up the RPS. Then I will have to start a great friending wave.
I will say that I will not be adding anyone who has a journal with no entries. I will not be adding anyone who only has my fic journal listed in their friends. I'm going into protective mode. I will probably go back eventually...but for now, I think it's better this way.
I apologize now if this bothers anyone.
ETA: Currently all NON-RPS fic has been unlocked. If any of you come across an RPS fic that is unlocked, please let me know. I am in the process of deciding how to handle the friending. I will probably put up an opt-in post for people to let me know they would like in on the RPS stuff. If you don't read RPS, you're good to go.
