53. Every Secret Thing (Shaara) I did not like this book at all. It was 445 pages, about 2 times longer than it needed to be. The writing was disjointed and the story dragged on forever. Things weren't explained well, and I didn't feel I really got to know any of the characters. A waste of the six days it took me to read this.
54. The Doctor's Daughter (Wolitzer)
55. Tears of Rage (Walsh)
56.The Wedding Planner's Daughter (Paratore) The fourth book I read this summer that has the word daughter in the title. Weird!
57. Seeing Sugar (Brinson)
58. Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog (Grogan)
59. The Confessions of Max Tivoli (Greer) This book had an interesting premise: a boy is born with the body of a 70 year old, but as he ages, his body becomes younger. It takes place in the San Francisco Area about a century ago. I liked it.

66. The Shop on Blossom Street (Macomber)
67. Jack on the Tracks (Gantos)
68. Criss-Cross (Perkins) This was the 2006 Newbery award-winning book. It was OK.
