:: a lot of things!

First of all, I heart the Paws for Peace forum, I have no idea how to quote other LJ-users, and am too lazy to find out, but you know who you are! In a silly kind of way, it even is practice for my own education…

At this moment, ever since the 8th of January until the 4th of February I’ve got vacation, I’m half-way done with my first year of Law. I’ve been very pleased and happy about it so far - and will look forward to the second semester. Aside from the more interesting subjects such as Civil Laws and Prosecution Laws (for criminals) I’d also have one subject of my choice, which will be Criminology. And at the same time we will visit the Court one time and go to “European Court of Human Rights” - which will be in Strassbourg (border Germany/France), somewhere around May! And my last exam will be on the 20th of June.

However, my vacation began three days ago and already am I bored to tears. I’ve finished 3 books already, cleaned my room and will have a job appointment next Tuesday. Already looking forward to that! Opposed to everything in the past, I can’t sit at my butt and do nothing. :/ *luxury complaint* I’d rather even study even though then I’ll explain that I have loads to study for -_-; *getting tired of myself*

Lately I have the feeling that my English is deteriorating, growing worse. May 2004 was my last English lesson, and the main reason I role play is to keep in touch with that language. My real life friends also speak a lot of English and there’s even a half-Dutch half-UK guy (born here though). Then I read back upon a post in 2005 and that convinced me that I’m able to write better than nowadays. Or at the Paws for Peace sometimes it really is difficult to express myself, hence I use a lot of “easy metaphors” to explain my vantage point. Don’t get me wrong, I’m proud of how far I’ve come ..it’s just a feeling I got.

(*) Also, somewhat WWS related. A president is elected for four years. I’d vote on the president that promises to lower the prizes of getting into your dream education. It’s heart-wrenching seeing people “not” being able to study because it’s too bloody expensive!

(*) Don’t let this be your only reason, though….
