So, I've Apparently been in areas at the right times to feel very small temblors from earthquakes before, but never had. This past morning, however, I was on the phone at 4:36, when the temblor reached up here from southern illinois. Me, being one of those phenomena peeeps, said, Frick, I'm being haunted. :P But then I was like, no, the beds shakin, I'm not shakin it... and stuff in my room is rattling. Hmm.. Earthquake! It was interesting for sure...
Of course waking up this morning, knowing the proper order of "Events" that is said to happen around these events, I went to google right away.
The Search: "ufo midwest". So what we got? Hmm... Here's a heading. "
UFOs over Kokomo? No, probably F-16s :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Metro ..." Ah, so we have success!
It's been said by many enthusiasts over the last years that before many of the major earthly events, such as the major tsunamis, earthquakes, or hurricanes, Lights and shapes are seen in the sky. Now, I know this is by no means a "Major" earthly event, but it was decent enough to be felt hundreds of miles away. So I thought I'd check. And, whaddya know! :P Here's one of the more descriptive posts I found on a ufo blog.
"First there was a boom. My family and I went outside to see what it was. Then I saw an airplane of some sort heading west. As I was pointing at the plane, The lights appeared what looked like to be in front of the plane. One light appeared in the western sky and then divided into about 5 lights in a perfect row. The lights(not like bulbs, but round flames.) were fading in and out. A few of what looked like sparks emitted and the lights disappeared. They then reappeared at approximately the same place, but different angle. We saw more "Sparks" then what looked like a flaming fragment shoot off to the north while the lights were still flashing and then the lights seemed to "spark/disintegrate". The plane that was heading straight toward it had to of seen the whole thing! I am hoping that someone captured it on video. They are trying to say that this was caused by some kind of meteor or atmospheric disturbance, but anyone who witnessed this would agree this was not meteors. I would also like to hear any feedback or other info anyone has, please post here."
Anywho... Yeah, this made me happy to see. :D Our little green friends still care about us, even though we aren't much excitement after the cold war. :P Oh Yeah! I wanted to see how far away kokomo was from the supposed epicenter, in West Salem, IL....Ah, well, At most 100 Miles away. But, maybe they know something more about the Madrid fault than we do...
Okay, time for me to wake up now! :D
Here's the Chic. Tribs Article:
