The Quake/Tsunami in Asia
My prayers go out to those victimized by the quake that caused the tsunamis across the Indian Ocean. It tears me apart everytime I read or watch the news about it. I heard that the quake had a magnitude of around 9.0 and I keep hearing different death tolls from 26 000 and 40 000 edit: now it's 70 000. Those are ridiculously high numbers and I feel terrible for those who have lost their loved ones and are now forced to rebuild their lives. The numbers for missing and injured are undoubtedly very high as well. I know I have a few LJ friends who this pertains to more than me, and I can only hope things will turn out better than worse with you guys.
