So i'm pretty sure now that Glee and Lea Michele are trying to kill me dead with awesome. I'm so in love. *sigh*
I never post anymore, haven't had time to start writing like i pondered over doing a while (...months? jesus.) back. *Shrug* don't force it, right? Or something of that nature. I still get on the good ol' ElJay at least 3x/week, but i don't even comment anymore. Lurker extraordinaire, at your service.
Side note, right off the bat, i have to go look up in LJFAQs how to do a cut every time, because i post so infrequently that i never remember the tags. haha
Lea, Lea, Lea... y'know there's a joke my friends and i have about could you ever fuck someone with your own name. Since a bunch of my friends are gay, this works. The general consensus was normally no, and i was of that group... until i discovered Lea Michele. I have an H on the end of my first name that she doesn't, but we pronounce it the same way and i would totally have her seven ways from Sunday. Wouldn't even be weird. The
Jimmy Fallon interview where she was eighteen thousand different kinds of adoreable? Her snarky comments to a photog while
making out with her gay boyfriend at an event? The
pic linked and mentioned below? Jesus Christ on a Pogo Stick, YES.
this manip by
hunno is amazing. I think i might make it my desktop. It's only rivaled by
this pic of Ms. Lea.
I have yet to watch Legend of the Seeker, though i've seen it on and passed it a time or two. I stopped on it, because i still love Xena to this day and this show seemed like a similar vein. Beautiful ladies + being badass + leather, corny magic and camp factor amplified = my kind of show. But my girlfriends gave me shit when i turned it on so i figured i'd stick with what i find on teh intertubes. Now i hear it's being cancelled and that makes me sad... Tabrett Bethel was another reason i avoided watching. She has the potential to inspire that weird obessive thing i already have going for Lea Michele and Dianna Agron (and many many others in my fandom past). I figured it best to let it simmer on the back burner until i'm looking for a new obsession, then seek it out and indulge. Too bad i missed my chance, huh? Show had potential.
Watched a bunch of movies recently.. bad ones, nothing really worth reporting!
Glee, the show itself, not just hot actresses that can sing and melt my heart/panties, has been rocking, as well.
- I was really hoping the ep titled Bad Reputation would use Joan Jett's Bad Reputation, but sadly no. wtf? I'll forgive them because Total Eclipse of the Heart is one of my guilty pleasures and Lea's voice singing it all mournful and heart-felt about made my year.
- Quinn being more human is great and i love that Dianna can cry fat rolling tears at the drop of a hat.
- i love Kurt but DO NOT WANT to watch the Kurt/Finn subbed out for Sam/Brooke Popular remake. Get a new pony, Ryan, c'mon.
- Mercedes and Kurt being Cheerios is uninspiring...though i agree with fandom rumors that New Directions/Cheerios join-up is the only way they'll win Sectionals against the monstrous production that is Vocal Adrenaline.
- YAY for Puckleberry being mentioned on the show! Not that i'm a Puckleberry shipper, at all, but i like the cracks in the 4th wall where the show's writers nod at their fans. Its cool.
- Love the humor factor of putting Jane Lynch in Vogue and Physical, but it takes up a bit too much of my show lol
- Rachel is still my all time favorite (putting the 3 boys against each other? hahahahaha i love you, Rach, don't change) but Brittany is a very close second. She is right up there with Sue for the best lines in the show. "Can you even feel your feet?" "I took all my cold medecine and forgot how to leave." "She looks home-schooled." "Sometimes i forget my middle name." I love this chick.
- Who knew Naya Rivera could sing?! Like, sing like a soul-sistah sing. Not just Dianna (i'm sorry) feathery light voice sing. She went up infinitely in her hotness factor for that one.
- Spoilers say that a Cheerio-on-Cheerio makeout is in the future. Can't wait ;)
Ok, so that's my Glee gushing. Other fandoms.. well... i'm stuck to this one, currently haha I still have all my subscriptions and memberships to the Skins communities, but when everyone was bitching how much they HATED season4 and felt raped, i dropped off. I did watch Moon though, which was an alright flick. 15sec of Kaya was quite cool. I haven't read of any rumors on what these kids are doing now though, makes me kinda sad. I hope they turn up again.
Fell almost completely out of the T:SCC fandom, and the L&O:SVU, as well. Glee takes up my free time. Well, when i'm not indulging my other geeky obsession--XBoX360's Oblivion.
Hi, world! How are ya? ;)
