Oh, hey, look, Valve's apparently given me a free copy of Half-Life 2.

You'll need a fairly beefy box; anything with video integrated onto the motherboard probably can't hack it. You'll also need a broadband connection since it's a large download. And of course you'll need to like the eff-pee-ess genre.

That said, who wants it?

No, I got it as soon as it came out, the free copy's just been sitting there unused since then.

I have it on DVD. My daughter bought it for me for Christmas a couple years ago. She was only 15 at the time and Game Stop was going to deny her buying it (it's rated M) but she started crying and said "But it's for my DAD!!!" So they sold it to her anyway. It's got HL2, as well as HL2 ep1, and HL Source, also CounterStrike Source and all the deathmatch stuff that comes along with it.

Needless to say, she's gonna get a car when she gets her license. Oh yes, she made the will.
