i came across some studies that showed how in people suffering from bipolar disorder, the hemispheric brain activity would drift alongside the manic or depressive episode being lived. some research was even made to understand if balancing the load by suggesting actions vs thoughts, conative vs cognitive comportment etc. would prevent bipolar disorder episodes.
