SOOOOO COLD!
It is so crazy up here in Bellingham! Coming back up on Sunday was so insane! Coral and I were driving in her car (which, thank the Lord, just got new tires) and we were doing fine until about 10 miles from Bellingham. It was dumping snow and within an hour, coral got 6 inches of build up on her hood. The traffic came to a dead stop and all these people came out of their cars to see what was going on. Looking ahead, we could see all these cars slipping and hitting the guardrail. Coral and I decided to pass the time by having a snowball fight between all the cars then make snow angels on the side of the freeway! It was so much fun! It took us hours to get to our exit. We were having the hardest time trying to go around corners and up and down hills. At one point, we just didnt even bother stopping at lights and signs because if we did, we would spin into a ditch, another car, or those people who turned all the streets into fun sledding hills. Later, coral's car got stuck and I had to get out and push it. When I went to go help this other guy behind her, I saw that coral was far down the street and couldnt stop. It was so funny trying to run after her in the ice while all these cars were passing me giving me funny looks. I think it looked like my car was sliding down the hill with no one in it. Anyways, I had to do one of those running jumps into the front seat which was very funny but hurt like heck. As we came around this corner, our car lost control and was spinning down this hill! Coral and I just put our hands up and went "WEEEEEEEEEEE"! We finally got our car kinda near our apartments, but as we looked ahead and saw all these cars in the middle of the road and in the ditches, we abandoned it and some of our things and hiked the rest of the way. The good thing out of this was school was canceled yesterday and today and probably tomorrow! YAY! But the temperature is in the mid 20's! BRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! The weather channel says the storm is going to keep moving south so have fun everybody!
